Light Haulage
Supervan Moves is a Light Haulage company. Our regular customers normally book in advance but we also offer an Express Light Haulage service. The service we offer is for Dedicated Light Haulage consignments meaning we only carry one customer consignment at a time.
Specialising in industrial machinery and equipment transport, our main vehicle is a Volkeswagen LT35 dropside/flatbed – as shown in the image and in the display below. Supervan Moves upgraded to this vehicle fairly recently after requests from many of our customers.
We’re now able to offer you many more advantages, including:
- Improved price, speed and flexibility compared to 7.5 tonne lorries and larger vehicles
- Ability to get in to narrow streets, drives, and ‘hard to access’ areas
- Overhead crane load / unload friendly
- Forklift truck load / unload friendly
- Increased goods weight capacity compared to a van. Up to 1.4 tonnes (1400kgs)
- Ability to load consignments to a maximum width: 2 metres and length: 4.1 metres
- Goods can be loaded / unloaded from either side and the rear
- Oblong and unusual-shape consignments present no problem – very tall consignments of 2 metres+ are achievable providing access on the route is not restricted – i.e. bridges!
